About the Cirrus:

Mid-Weight 65% Polyester 35% Cotton The Cirrus is our most popular fabric. Soft and comforting combed cotton is blended with a polyester core to provide easy care without any chemical finishing. This traditional mid-weight twill has a soft surface without giving up the structured feel commonly expected in a pilot shirt. Available in the greatest number of sizes and fits, the Cirrus provides an optimal balance of durability, wrinkle-resistance, and comfort.

• Wrinkle Resistant – Durable press finish for wrinkle resistance.
• Traditional Blend – Traditional pilot shirt blend we have been making for years, available in the greatest number of variations.
• 100 OEKO-TEX Certified

Fit Styes:

Fitted - The Fitted style pilot shirt is slimmer throughout the shoulders, arms, chest and belly. Broad shouldered customers commonly find the Fitted to be too narrow.

Tapered - The best selling moderate fit that provides some ease without being overly bulky. A good all around fit for over 50% of our customers.

Relaxed* - A straight cut through the body and larger sleeves for a relaxed look. For a loose fit, the more rotund, or those extra broad in the shoulders. 

*Relaxed fit is not currently stocked by Downunder Pilot Shop but is available on request.

• Cool & Dry Foam™ - Collarband foam for added comfort along the collarband.
• Cool & Dry Collar™ - Sweat-wicking collarband for comfort and easy care.
• Removable Collar Stays – REMOVE BEFORE WASH. Keeps your collar looking sharp & structured, or use your own.
• Drop-in Pocket – Standard on all Pilot Shirts. Faux pocket flap with open top & pen pocket. Wearer’s left velcro closure.
• Optional Torso Reduction – In-house alterations help you achieve the best fit for you. Note that once altered, items are not returnable.
• Optional Wing Eyelets – Reinforced button holes for consistent pin placement.

Shirt Length:

Downunder Pilot Shop currently only stocks Regular length A Cut Above shirts. If you would like to order a Tall length shirt, just send us an email and we can order one for you.

Tall or Regular? Our guidance is to only order the Tall if you are 6’3” or above. The Tall shirts have an extra 1.5” in the body and ¾” in the sleeve. Our regular shirts are intentionally long to remain tucked in. Long Sleeves are regular length unless the sleeve length selected is 36/37” These long sleeves also have Tall Length bodies.

Care Instructions - Dry clean for best results. Machine wash warm with like colors. Bleach as needed. Iron medium heat. Tumble dry medium, remove promptly to avoid wrinkles.
